About this project
CLL Society is a nonprofit organisation focused on patient education, support, and research of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).
The brief was to create an explainer animation for the mechanism of action of covalent and non-covalent inhibitors of BTK - a protein that is essential for the development B cells.
Inhibition of BTK is being researched as a treatment option for chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
The visual direction was to create accessible abstract visuals of the complex science. We did this by creating simplified shapes using the original molecular structures.
