About this project
Scientific American approached us to develop an infographic on the effects of the hormone GLP-1 on appetite suppression and how Ozempic, a synthetic form of GLP-1, uses similar pathways.
Ozempic has gained a lot of press attention recently but it’s mechanism of action is often misunderstood.
Creating this infographic began with research and sketching, with the development of the illustrations guided by Jen. In keeping with the colourful detailed style of the SciAm brand, I created this fun and engaging science story.
